This Privacy Policy describes how Talk.ai ("we", "our", or "us") handles your information.

English (Base)

Talk is designed to keep your voice notes private.

  1. Data processed: audio recordings, transcripts, AI outputs (summaries/categories/action items), app preferences, optional custom categories/project mappings.
  2. Storage: data is stored locally on your device by default. If iCloud sync is enabled, recordings and transcripts are copied to iCloud.
  3. AI/Transcription: Talk may use Apple Speech/Apple Intelligence and an optional downloaded on-device model. Language/model files may be downloaded from third-party model-hosting services to your device.
  4. Permissions: Microphone, Speech Recognition, and optional Reminders access.
  5. Sharing: Talk does not sell personal data. Data is shared only when required by enabled features (for example iCloud/Apple services) or when you explicitly export/share content.
  6. Retention/Deletion: You can configure retention and delete audio/transcripts/history entries in-app.
  7. Children: Not intended for children under 13 (or local minimum age).
  8. Security: platform protections are used, but no method is 100% secure.
  9. Updates: this policy may be updated.
